He is representative of Goldspot Investment Limited which owns 80 percent of the firm.
In August of 1999, Goldspot Investment Ltd., a Hong Kong based company, became the majority shareholder of Chong Lot. One of Goldspot's directors had an address directly inside a Beijing military compound. What is more compelling about the PLAN link is that Goldspot's majority shareholder is China Securities International Ltd, which is a large state-owned brokerage house. |

Chen, Kai Kit (Chio, Ho Cheung)
One of the key officials of Chong Lot.
Chen had been a surprise winner in elections to Macau's Legislative Assembly and also seemed to enjoy good connections in Beijing. Later however he disappeared without trace after a financial scandal. The case, investigated by Hong Kong's Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), concerned the defrauding of many millions of dollars from a Chinese state food company. Chen's last known whereabouts were as a patient in a Beijing military hospital recovering from an unspecified disease. |
